This mini-class from Knit School will show you how to add stripes to your knitting without the jogs!
What is Helical Knitting?
I learnt this technique from Jen Arnall-Culliford’s book ‘A Year of Techniques’ and fell completely in love with it. Helical knitting is a technique for knitting stripes in the round without the need for carrying yarn behind the work. It sets up each colour to work as a distinct spiral of stitches.
Why Helical Knitting?
Not only is it a way to add jogless stripes to your knits but it is also a great way to help avoid colour pooling when working with hand-dyed yarns! Plus you can add stripes to plain stocking stitch knits really easily!

HEY, I'M MICHELLE!
I started Knit School because I met a lot of knitters who were nervous about taking the leap to more advanced patterns & techniques and I wanted to help knitters to feel that they CAN KNIT ANYTHING they want! Knitting is definitely not rocket science and everyone can be an awesome knitter including you!
